You arrive in a candlelit foyer. On the central table lies a a short letter, typed on antique stationery marked with your name and the society’s crest.
“Welcome, Aspirant. If you are reading this, you have found the Hall of Whispers. Your journey to ascend begins here.
The founders believed that truth is never loud, and wisdom often whispers.
Open the desk drawer to retrieve the sealed envelope within —but only when you’ve found the four digits they left behind.”
You turn the letter over and notice a line of text barely visible on the edge:
“Their founding year, reversed, lies within the name.”
Looking at the society crest, you see a Latin inscription:
